Dalhousie: Come & Enjoy At Himachal


Dalhousie is a hill station in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It was established in 1854.  It is located at 6000-9000 feet above sea level. It is situated around five hills. It is situated on the western edge of Dhauladhar mountain range of the Himalayas. The best time to visit here is from May to September. It is a gateway to the Chamba Hills in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It has a huge number of hotels for tourists to accommodate.

The most tourist attraction destinations are Dainkund Peak, Khajjiar, Bakrota Hills, Village Lohali, Gandhi Chowk, Sadar Bazar and Dalhousie Cantonment. The other nature’s places which can be visited here are Central Park, Dainkund Peak, Khajjiar Lake, Panch Pulla and Satdhara Falls. The religious places to visit are Chamunda Devi Temple, Church of Scotland, Hariraya Temple and Laxmi Narayana Temple.
